Samuel Arabski, 14 years old in 1941, was born at Ousitchno in the Zhytomir region, near Dovbyzh. On SS orders, Jewish families were escorted by Ukrainian policemen and part of the local population to the edge of three pits on the outskirts of the village. After having to wait for several hours, they were shot by the Ukrainian policemen and buried by their neighbors who shared out their clothes and valuables.
