After the tribute to Christian Boltanski, in 2022 («Des regards. Des esprits») – the first exhibition made in tribute to the artist then recently deceased, Melik Ohanian in 2023, with «Remember, it was tomorrow» – his three works evoking the genocide of the Armenians gathered for the first time -, this Nuit Blanche 2024 will take place under the sign of transversality and profusion, a way of responding to the danger of radicalism through the plurality of worlds, histories, struggles, memories, emotions.
That evening at the Shoah Memorial, we will think of the victims of the Holocaust, but also of the Tutsi, the exiles of yesterday and today, we will go from Rwanda to Poland, from Paris to Kigali via Lublin, from Birkenau to Natzwiler.
An evening with multiple entries, allowing the visitor to stroll through the Memorial, and to discover several works of significant artists of the contemporary scene, around two axes: video and performance.
Let us thank all those who made this exceptional evening possible.
See you at the Edmond J. Safra auditorium for a presentation of the evening in the presence of the artists: Laurent Goldring, Rachel Labastie, Régis Perray and, subject, Yannick N. Kamanzi and Tania Mouraud
