On Tuesday 12 March 2024, the Shoah Memorial and the city of Nice signed a lease promise for the future Shoah Memorial Museum in Nice.
In the presence of Jacques Fredj, the director of the Shoah Memorial, and Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice.
“For the past ten years, the Shoah Memorial has been carrying out important actions in Nice. While anti-Semitism is at stake, when historical concepts are instrumentalized and hijacked by extremists, it is essential to teach the history of the Holocaust and anti-Semitism,” stressed Eric de Rothschild, President of the Shoah Memorial.
The Nice Memorial is expected to open in December 2025.
